La Manzanilla
La Manzanilla is the jewel of the Happy Coast, (Costa Alegre) on the Central Pacific Coast of Mexico. Just three hours south of Puerto Vallarta by car or three hours by plane from Los Angeles (via Manzanillo Airport accessed by Alaska Airlines two times per-day, seven days a week.) La Manzanilla is easy to access but will leave you feeling worlds apart.

Suspended like a precious stone around a neck of hills above an elegant crescent shaped bay is, Casa Piedra Del Mar. Below Casa Piedra the living waters of the Costa Alegre (the happy coast) splash with Pelicans, deep-running whales, busy fishermen, and the ambling street life of the town of La Manzanilla. Built in 2005 Casa Piedra Del Mar is owned and operated by Gustavo Caballero and Artist John Fraticelli’s. The home exemplifies their spirit of for the land, eye for design, and commitment to beauty.Casa Piedra is a modern interpretation of Mexican architecture and style. Each room is tastefully decorated with a special focus on color and texture. One example is the specially created ceramic style for the kitchen. The home features custom art by local designer Angela Lopez (Pintura Artistica).

Artist Statement
Being raised in Kailua Oahu Hawaii, as a child I have always been fascinated by art and color. My father spent 26years in the military and we were very fortunate to have traveled as kids and raised in colorful settings around the world; Hawaii, Panama, and finally California which allowed me to have a colorful and diverse childhood. My jewelry is a culmination (at any single moment) of the places I have lived and the beauty I’ve experienced.
